This is a page for your hints and tips on conducting a hunt,
Plumbellina's Method :- If you hire me then this is how I work.
Make sure you have all you need before coming to the meeting place, I will not wait for people to get regs etc.
Party up, this way we share the fame/karma and are able to heal each other without chasing all over the screen, and remember to keep all the parties health bars on your screen, if you get killed get the bars up again on ressing
Normally we would meet at the guild house in felluca, from there we gate\recall to the t spot using the t spot library, and if the map is in trammel plant the stone here, Make sure you bring a Tram stone and a Fel stone with you.
Warriors through first to take the heat from resident monsters from the hunter, if we are near water plant a boat to act as a safe haven, I will normally supply the boat
All hide/invis, I dig the chest and immediately hide to prevent the protective spawn targeting me, I will then bring up the spawns health bars, the rest of the party can then reveal them selves and either fight the monsters or lead them to the boat and I can then start to provoke them, once they have stated fighting amongst themselves they will target each other and the clients can join in the melee, If possible try to keep one monster alive so that I can provoke the next monster on to it.
The T hunter will loot the chest, but a member of the party is quite welcome to examine the contents of the chest before the hunter removes any of the items, but please do not disturb the contents as this will trigger the spawn.
Loot all the monsters of everything and put the proceeds in the hold of the boat, if you don't want scrolls then someone else may.
Try to stay on one screen if you have to run, run in circles around the screen, once the monsters are off the screen, I lose their health bars and have to retarget for provoke, more importantly if you are off the screen I cant heal you and remember to KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR PARTIES HEALTH BARS, a dead t hunter is of no use to anyone.
Finally this guide is not written in stone, there is room for maneuver, if you want to do things your own way, but this is a tried and tested method and works for me.
